Aam Panna is a cooling mango drink, slightly sour and sweet in taste. This drink refreshes your mind! AAM PANNA Ingredients 4 medium raw mangoes ¼ cup sugar Salt to taste Black salt to taste ½ teaspoon roasted cumin powder Ice cubes as required Fresh mint sprigs as required Method 1. Pressure cook raw mangoes alongwith 4-5 cups water till 1-2 whistles are released. Open the lid when the excess air is completely released. 2. Peel and deseed the cooked raw mangoes and reserve the flesh in a bowl. Strain the flesh in another bowl. 3. Heat raw mango flesh in a non-stick pan. Add ½ cup water, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add sugar, mix and cook till it melts. 4. Add salt and black salt, mix and cook for 1-2 minutes. Add cumin powder, mix and cook till the mixture slightly thickens. Remove from heat, cool and transfer in an air-tight jar. 5. To prepare one portion, blend together some ice cubes, 4-5 tablespoons raw mango puree mixture, 5-6 mint sprigs and 1 cup water into smooth mixture. 6. Serve chilled garnished with mint sprig.
